Recipe of the day : Shepherd’s Pie

Today I’m gonna share recipe to make shepherd’s pie for dummies 😛 Easy and yummy 🙂


1 pound minced meat – beef
2 carrot chopped into dice
1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup. kalau ada yg mushroom cheese lagi best.
1/2 onion, diced
2 ulas garlic
1.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 cups mashed potatoes or more according to your liking
(for 2 cups of mashed potato you would need around 5 to 6 potatoes. when boiling the potatoes, put chicken stock in the boiling water for better taste 🙂 )


1.Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2.Tumis onion and garlic.
3.Put mince meat until medium-high heat until beef is browned, about 10 minutes. Drain fat. Mix in carrot and cream of mushroom soup
4.Pour beef mixture into a casserole dish and top with 80% of the Cheddar cheese. Spread mashed potato on top.
5.Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the mashed potato
4.Bake in the preheated oven until the pie is hot, and the mashed potatoes are golden brown, about 30 minutes.
